CERTIFIED COMMUNITY WORK INCENTIVES COORDINATOR

A Bit About Me

I am a certified Community Work Incentives Coordinator based in Austin. Deaf and fluent in ASL, I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Gallaudet University. Previously, I worked as a case manager and as an addiction counselor for non-profit agencies. I work with individuals and organizations to advise them on issues, procedures, and matters related to the Social Security benefits program.

I understand the role that we play in our clients’ lives. The work can be difficult, but it is important and fulfilling.

As one of the few Certified Community Work Incentives Coordinators fluent in ASL, I am able to connect with my clients in a way that truly helps them understand and manage their Social Security Benefits. For most people who receive SSI/SSDI, these benefits are a crucial lifeline and the primary means of supporting themselves and their families. Unfortunately, confusion and disruption of benefits occur far too frequently and come with serious and negative consequences.

I am always searching for new ways to work with individuals and organizations who can benefit from our work. Thank you for considering Deaf Future Works, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
